Introduction

Ramachandra Pulavar is an acclaimed Tholpavakoothu artist and winner of Kendra Sangeetha Nataka Academy award. He is the son of legendary Tholpavakoothu artist Krishnankutty Pulavar. He is having his own troup named Krishnankutty Pulavar memorial pavakoothu and puppetry centre in Kavalappara, Shornur. .From 1979 onwards the troupe of puppet centre have been visiting aboard and other partof India with this art form.

Biography

K.K.Ramachandra pulavar was born on 25 May 1960 to late K.L.Krishnan kutty pulavar and Gomathy ammal. K.Rajeev Pulavar, a young sensation in Tholpavakoothu is his son.
