Basically a musician, he composes and co-ordinates music programmes. He is responsible for the creative contents of a show.
Pradeep is one of the master performers in Bamboo music today. He is one of the leaders of Vayali-Bamboo music, a prominent troupe from Arangottukara, Thrissur district. He is responsible for the compositions of the band

He hails from Arangottukara, Thrissur district. He is a noted bamboo music performer in and out of the state.

Vayali Music Band

In 2002-2003, there was a workshop on folk art forms nearby Trichur. Some of the folk artsists from Arangottukara participated in it and performed ‘Marampattu’. Mr.Vinod Nambiar, who was the organizer of that program was impressed by this performance and he encouraged artists to create a group of folk arts.

This led to the birth of Vayali in 2004. The word ‘Vayali’ means regarding cultivating land or field. ‘Vayali’ consists of 30 members including artists, administrators and coordinators.

Artist will perform on stages and will choreograph new items. The administrators are the one who manages the group’s other activities. Coordinators are the persons who assist the administrators and the program cell.

Both males and females are part of the organization. Bamboo folks are a group nine members with Vinod Nambiar as the director. In the span of 12 years Vayali had performed around the world and shared the stages with many stalwarts.

Vayali rejuvenated the inherent talent of the youth in a small village. It is a model to all youngsters to how showcase their talent through hard work and dedication. Over the years, Vayali had invented lots of musical instruments of Bamboo.

The musical instruments they use for their performances are made themselves. It really needs a creative sense to built these type of instruments. Fortunately, Vayali posses that.
